Meet Launch Years Consulting

Launch Years Consulting Services provides professional guidance and advice to childcare providers, parents, and other professionals working with young children. We specialize in offering training to support children with special/ diverse needs, as well as work with their families. We promote the belief that every child has the right to high quality, meaningful childhood experiences that respect diversity, promote healthy development and allow the child to make contributions as part of a group and the community.

I have been involved in education and working with families for over 15 years. I have a deep understanding of early childhood education and the current trends. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education with Honours and a Resource Consultant Certificate with High Honours. Over the years I have served as an Early Childhood Education Director, Registered Early Childhood Educator, Resource Consultant, and Vice-Principal. As a parent of a child with special needs, one of my greatest passions has been providing support to children with identified needs so that they can participate in activities along with their peers. 

I have been involved with and chaired several committees throughout my career, including Diversity and Parent-Teacher Committees, and have received awards for Teacher of the Year, Family Partnership, Diversity, and Excellence in Care and Education. I believe that everyone has different but equally valued skills, abilities, and knowledge; and should have the opportunity to be fully included within their communities.
